Final Project Schedule

The schedule for presentations follows. There are seven groups that go Tuesday and seven groups that go Thursday. That gives exactly 10 minutes per group. You should plan on making a presentation of 7 minutes, leaving 3 minutes for questions. I will give you a 2 minute warning, and then promptly cut you off. You definitely need to practice your presentation - for content, coordination between group members, and timing.

In the presentation, you should cover:

Submission

You should submit your project by emailing it to me no later than Tuesday morning at 8am (or delivering a physical media).  I will then have a few hours to put your project on my laptop and do a quick check.  I will send email confirming that I have gotten your project installed and working.  However, note that I will be travelling Sunday - Monday, and won't be able to install or check your projects until Monday evening.  I will be in my office Tuesday morning at 8am, so you also may come to my office to install or check your project then.

For those of you running your software on your own machine, you still must submit your project to me by email (or by delivering some physical media like CD) before class on Tuesday.

As usual, you should include a README file explaining how to run your program, and telling me anything you would like me to know about your project when I grade it.

Private Evaluation

In addition to the project submission, I would like you to each write an individual evaluation of your team that you should email (or hand in on paper) to me privately.  I will keep this private and will not share it with anyone else.  I would like you to tell me how your team worked together, and who did what.  Did your team communicate well?  Did people show up for meetings?  Was there a natural leader?  Who did what parts of the project?  Did each member do the portions they said they would?  And did people follow deadlines?

Please send this to me by Thursday before class.
