TURKEY
I am from Turkey.
My hometown, Kdz.
Eregli, is on northwest of Anatolia, and at the Black sea coast. It's
history
goes back to as far as 2500 B.C.
My mother's family
has been in Eregli as long as we know. It used to be a small agriculture
and coal mining coast town until the construction of Iron and Steel Plant
in 1960's.

The great plane trees of Eregli are famous. They are said to be more than
500 years old.
Ottoman
strawberries are special to Eregli. They are very delicious, and although
they are tiny and pink, they are really sweet. Unfortunately they are quite
rare today.
