HONORS SEMINAR CMSC 297 Fall 2003
WHERE: CSIC 1121 WHEN: Mondays at 4pm WHY: Come and find out! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This is a 1-credit course where we will have Faculty give guest lectures on their research. While CMSC 297 is NOT required for honors students, it is highly recommended, and especially for those students who are not yet embarked on an honors research project. The (hopefully many) guest lectures by various CS faculty will give students a significant opportunity to learn about potential areas of interest for their projects, as well as to meet the faculty face-to-face. PREREQUSITE: You must be a computer science major and be INTERESTED in doing research. Instructors: B. Dorr, W. Gasarch, and D.
