College of Agriculture and Natural Resources moved to rename the
Department of Natural Resources and Landscape Architecture (NRSL)
as the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture (PSLA)
All three motions passed.
Report of the Task Force on Faculty Life and Professional Success

Task Force on Faculty Life and Professional Success moved to
change University policy to grant each faculty member an
automatic one-year delay of the tenure clock for
childbirth or adoption. Faculty may also request one-year
delays for other personal circumstances. Normally a maximum of
two one-year delays will be granted. The automatic one-year
delay applies regardless of gender.
A motion was raised on the floor for an amendment to apply a liberal interpretation
of "parenthood" for applying the one-year delay of tenure clock policy.
