Regrade Policy:

NOTE: the policies outlined below are slightly different then what was specified on the class syllabus. You may consider the following to be the official procedure for requesting a regrade on any course assignment.

  1. Print out and complete the "Official Regrade Request Form" and attach it (either with a staple or paper clip) to the original graded assignment returned to you.

  2. Turn in the material from step 1 to either the head grading TA (during any of their posted office hours), your lab section TA (after class only), or your instructor (after class only).

Note: you must turn in this request by the deadline outlined above unless you are physically incapable of doing so (in which case you will need to fill out and submit an "Official Excuse Request Form" to gain permission to turn in a regrade request late).

  3. The head grading TA will then review and process your regrade request. Upon regrading your assignment the head grading TA will return it to the teaching TA of the lab section for which you are registered. Your teaching TA will then return the regraded material in the next lab section. Please allow up to 2 weeks for this process to occur and the paper to be returned to your teaching TA.

If after 2 weeks your regrade request has not been processed please contact the head grading TA during any of their posted office hours.

  4. If you have any question concerning a regrade request you must see the head grading TA in person during any of their posted advising hours. The instructors of the course will not answer any regrade related questions until after you have filled out and received back the "Official Regrade Request Form".

Head Grading TA:

The Head Grading TA for this course is Alex Grushin and her office hours can be found on the "Who's Who" class webpage.

Academic Honesty and Additional Information:

Please see the class syllabus for additional information/policies and remember that the University has a Code of Academic Integrity by which all students are expected to abide and any suspected violations of this code will be turned in to the University per University regulation.
