  • Book(s): Design and Analysis of Spatial Data Structures (Samet) and A Practical Introduction to Data Structures and Algorithms (Shaffer) (We will use the 2nd edition, but you can manage with your choice of Java or C++ version of 1st edition, and a little help from your friends.)
Projects, Quizzes, and Exams
  • Quizzes: (15%-20%) on 9/25, 10/16, 11/20, 12/9
  • Midterm: (20%-25%) on 10/30
  • Final Exam: (25%-30%) on Thursday, 12/19 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Location PHY 1412.
  • Project: (35%-40%)
    • Part 1 on time 22:00 Saturday, October 5.
    • Part 2 on time 22:00 Saturday, October 26.
    • Part 3 on time 22:00 Saturday, November 23.
    • Part 4 on time 22:00 Saturday, December 14.
