I will try to accomodate all students who are interested in taking
this course.  However, if the number of students is too large, I may
not be able to accomodate everyone.  If you are not enrolled, please
do NOT assume that you will be able to enroll at a later date unless
I have specifically told you so. 

If you ask me to waive the prerequisite, I *may* agree.  If I do,
please realize that you are proceeding at your own risk.  Again, do
not assume I'll waive the prerequisite unless I tell you so.  If you
ask me to waive the prerequisite, be prepared to prove that you'll be
able to cope with the material.  

Please do NOT contact me regarding registration and enrollment matters
before the class starts unless you believe your situation is truly
exceptional (meaning you honestly can't imagine more than one person
being in a similar situation in any year).
