In order to encourage students to keep up with classwork and provide early and regular feedback on performance, there will be several short quizzes throughout the course. These will typically consist of simple questions based on topics covered in class and on reading that is due on or before the quiz date. Some of these quizzes may not be announced in advance. Quizzes will be closed-book.
