EXAMS:
There will be frequent quizzes, two midterms exams and a final exam. If you miss a midterm exam, it will DROPPED from your grade. THERE WILL BE NO MAKEUP QUIZES OR EXAMS (except for officially excused absences) !!!EXAM DATES

For 250(regular) Oct 25 in class.
For 250H Oct 24 in class, 11-12:15Midterm #2:
For 250 (regular) Nov 29 in class.

GRADE SCHEME:
For each student, we will calculate the grade in two different ways and then use the max of those two ways. Here are the two methods:
Method 1: HWK 15%; QUIZZES 15%; TWO MIDTERMS 20% each; FINAL 30%
Method 2: HWK 15%; QUIZZES 15%; MIDTERM (best of two) 30%; FINAL 40%
