This assignment is to replace class on November 27th. I am posting it now so that there is plenty of time to do it before that weekend if you so desire. There are two parts... Ask 5 people who are not students to identify a piece of software they like and a piece of software they dislike. Send me your list at egolubUMD@gmail.com with the subject "Class Part #4". Go to the Google Moderator poll and enter the data by either adding a new entry if needed (if something that was mentioned does not appear at all yet) and then by voting entries up (once for each person who said it was something they liked) or down (once for each person who said it was something they didn't like). Note 1: You will need to vote your own entry down if you have to add an entry and it's a "dislike" since the default is to have your vote on something you add be a "like". Note 2: If more than one person in your collection mentioned the same software, you'll only be able to vote on it once, but you can add a comment on that entry saying how many additional also named it (and how). We will discuss the results in class on December 2nd. Remember, you will turn in the list from the first part by sending it to me at egolubUMD@gmail.com with the subject as "Class Part #4". |
