The world wide web has been around popularly since about 1994 (although it's actual origins date back to 1989). Since then, it's popularity has been ever increasing. Most people who own a computer and are hooked up to the Internet visit the web from their browsers at least a few minutes each day.
Even in it's humble beginnings, the web attracted people because of the ease of publishing. People quickly began showing themselves off on webpages, which companies often offered for free. It wasn't long before people began to put their lives online.
In particular, having online diaries, or "web logs" or "blogs" is so popular, that websites devote resources for anyone who wants to maintain a "blog" to do so. Even though some people have very little to say ( "Ran out of food. Ate ketchup" ), it offers the public a view into a person's life.
This project will be loosely based on the website "livejournal.com". In particular, you wish to create classes that will allow a person to become a member of "bloggers.com". There are three levels of membership: bronze, silver, and gold, each with different privileges.
As a member, you can submit an entry, modify an entry, remove an entry, add a friend, remove a friend. The entry is divided into two categories. You can either upload a "diary" entry, or you can upload an MP3, which has a song title, a duration, the album title, and the group. You can download MP3s from other friend's entries.
Each entry will have a date. When printing out journal entries, you need to print it out in reverse chronological order (most recent entry first). When asked to print the entries of friends, you will print out their entries in reverse collectively.
The printing can be both entries and MP3's or entries alone or MP3's alone. Finally, you might make a query whether you and all your friends have the entire song list to an album.
