CMSC 433, Spring 2014
Programming Language Technologies and Paradigms
Projects
Notes:
- Contrary to the practice followed in some other classes, we will
use the submit server to submit projects, but not to incrementally
compile and test them. Will we not be providing public test cases
either (at least not a comprehensive set). In this class, you, the
developer, bear the responsibility for validating your systems.
Therefore we encourage students to develop their own test cases and to
publish them on the discussion forums. We also encourage students to
discuss these tests and their expected behaviors on the class
discussion forum. We will consider giving extra credit to students who
create and publish particularly useful test cases.
- Project specifications are subject to change. The best
things to do are to get started early, to root out any ambiguities or concerns as
quickly as possible, and to start forum discussions of any issues found.
