IT Systems Analyst (Position #106767)
Manage heterogeneous network of Linux, PC and MacOSX and Solaris workstations for the department. Work closely with other UNIX and Windows administrators to ensure interoperability and reliability across Windows and UNIX platforms. Manage local and commercial software, security, system and network administration, and provide user support. Work with faculty to incorporate computing research requirements with existing system operations. Develop and maintain software including applications to help improve department computing efficiency. May supervise junior/hourly systems staff and help cover/manage the help desk. Handle special project assignments or other responsibilities as needed.
