Activating and Installing Adobe Creative Cloud

Instructions for Faculty and Staff (Department Computer)

For your work computer, ask a member of the IT staff to install the Labs version of the Creative Cloud. This version will not require annual renewal. Send your request via email to helpdesk@cs.umd.edu

Instructions for Students (and Faculty/Staff Home Use)

You no longer need to create a seperate Adobe ID or Adobe product key for Creative Cloud. Instead you use your Directory ID through Adobe’s Enterprise Login system.

1. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud application from your computer, or visit the Adobe Account Login page using web browser.
2. Enter your university email address in the username field: directoryID@umd.edu
3. The Adobe Enterprise Login page may open. If the Adobe Enterprise Login page does not open, click Sign in with an Enterprise ID.
4. If prompted to Choose an Account for Page, select Enterprise Account.
5. The Central Authentication Service will open. Enter your Directory ID and Password. Click Login.
