Storing files on windows machines

One very important note about files on Windows machines. You must store your windows data on the network drives provided to you, generally drive W:.

LOCAL DISKS ON WINDOWS MACHINES ARE NOT BACKED UP! Any data you store on drive C: will be lost if there is a disk failure. In most cases, the system will not allow you to write data to drive C:.
