lpr -P ps4 -o Staple=1PLU file.ps...this tells lpr to add 1 staple, in the Left Upper corner of a Portrait-oriented document.
Note that stapling doesn't work well with multiple copies - the printer will print all the copies and staple them together with one single staple, so either submit jobs one at a time or print one copy and take it to a copy machine.
