HCIL Service Day 2007
The US Holocaust Museum's Steven Spielberg Film and Video Archive was selected for this year's HCIL Service Day Project. In April of 2007, 25 members of the HCIL went to the Museum to collaborate on the re-design of their Video Archive. |

The day began with an overview of the Film and Video Archive project. |

A tour of the film digitizing process was then shown to HCIL members. |

The re-design brainstorming session began with members from HCIL and the Museum gathering their thoughts and sorting them on the board. |
Groups consisting of HCIL members and Museum employees were formed to collaborate on creative ways to re-design the archive. |

Seven groups, each with a different focus, from Understanding Users to Information Visualization, worked hard to come up with the best ideas possible. |

Design ideas were then presented to the group in several creative formats. |

Ideas from each group were summarized and explained in detail. |

Museum and HCIL members ended the day with many ideas and a photo. |
