The 13 year old Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory (HCIL) is an interdisciplinary effort within the Center for Automation Research. The main participants are faculty, staff, and students from the Department of Computer Science, Department of Psycholo gy, College of Library and Information Services and Institute for Systems Research (ISR) at the University of Maryland. Additional cooperation with University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) and Computer Science Center (CSC) enriches our possibilities.
