KidPad Version 1.0 is now available for free download for non-commercial. For information on commercial licenses, please contact Prof. Ben Bederson at bederson@cs.umd.edu. Multiple mouse support is only available for Windows 98 with USB mice.

Installing KidPad

On Windows:
Download the KidPad installation file (17 Meg) and save it to disk.  The file you download is called KidPad-1.0-setup.exe.  Now, double-click on that file and an installation Wizard will take you through the steps of installing KidPad.

On Mac OS X:
Download KidPad-1.0.dmg. Double-click to open, and copy the KidPad application into your Applicatins folder.

The KidPad 1.0 User's Guide is now also available.

Download the KidPad installation file (12 Meg) and save it to disk.  The file you download is called KidPad-0.9.zip.  Now, double-click on that file extract the files into a temporary directory with WinZip or any other unzip utility.  Then, double-click on the file setup.exe that you extracted, and an installation Wizard will take you through the steps of installing KidPad.
