HCIL LifeLines Applet

Scroll down this window until the applet fills your screen (you should see a button that says "load" near the bottom, this may require hiding your location and toolbar in Netscape). For smaller screens: a new sizeable applet should be here soon.

Current Possible Actions:

Left-button (normal) click zooms-in (halfway from present viewing dates centered near the point you clicked at)

Double click on an event to view it more closely (i.e. zoom on that event)

Right click in empty area to zoom out (click several times to zoom back to full view, or click on the lowest slider bar)

Shift-click on an event takes you to an associated web page (There are only a few examples so try the sonogram, the EKG or the Pneumonia Xray). A new window will open with the detail event data. You will see that better window placement stategies are needed!) The Java windows does not always repaint properlly when a window that overlapped is removed. Shift-Click on the display to refresh (without the shift this may produce a zoom)

Drag the slider arrows to zoom on an exact viewing region (Start zooming on the year slider. The top sliders are only active when the year slider is not useful, i.e. viewing less than one year.

Enter a new file name (for now only ones we have in our directory, try parr.lld to see an example of some parallel aggregates) and then press the load button, to view a new file (the first file you view is called c3.lld if you want to return to that).
