Short Bio
Anne Rose is the Assistant Director of Technology for the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at the University of Maryland in College Park. In 1990, she graduated from Penn State University with her B.S. in Industrial Engineering. She worked previously as a software engineer at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. developing specification tools for real-time systems. Her research interests include user interface design with an emphasis on information visualization and software engineering methods. Her more recent work has focused on digital libraries.
