Who are these people?
This is a difficult question to answer.  It would be nice if we could identify the type of person who creates, invents and innovates.  These people are philosophers, mathematicians, entrepreneurs, engineers, visionaries and scientists.  Some have strong backgrounds in mathematics and computing, some have an eye for business, while others merely found their way into the field.  Though they began in different disciplines with alternate lifestyles, these men and women share in common a motivation to share their ideas with the world.  The work of these user-interface pioneers does not encapsulate who they are as people, but rather introduces you to their way of thinking.  Keep an open mind as your explore their worlds.
