Windows for Workgroup 3.1 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11, which was an important upgrade of Windows for Workgroup 3.1, were released quickly after Windows 3.0 and Windows 3.1. The build-in network feature made user easier to access and configure network inside Windows on the fly. But, Windows for Workgroups 3.xx does not support Internet dial-up network, it needs third-party software that often conflict with its own network feature.
The interface of Windows for Workgroups remained same as its previous version of Windows, Windows 3.1.
