WebGIS – Some of the GIS functionalities provided by Web GIS is depicted here. Some other added functionalities that are incorporated into the system setup in South Africa are shown as well… The tools are described with examples from the system… The capability to use these functionalities helps ESKOM and resource managers in decision making. Some functionalities such as using the buffer to know the fire location through a buffer area is particularly useful.
