Systems covered are generally identified as information management
interfaces, which includes information and software visualization
interfaces, windowing systems and web and news browsers. Systems are
examined according to the taxonomy shown in
Figure 
. This taxonomy examines systems
independently from the perspectives of organization, access and
manipulation of information.
