Subjects needed for an
HCIL experiment
Experiment: In this experiment I am going to compare a new
window management strategy called Elastic Windows
with independent overlapping windows approach in
terms of user performance for certain tasks.
You will be given three tasks of varying complexities and be
asked 4 questions in each task. There will be training for each
windowing interface. You will be given enough time to ask
questions regarding the experiment procedure, tasks, and both
of the interfaces. You may leave at any time during the experiment
if you want to.
The experiment takes about one hour. I am also looking for your
comments about the work.
Requires:
Experience with X Windows.
