Error Abstraction with PBR2
This session applies the idea of error abstraction to the faults which
were found from PBR2 review. We estimated it to
take about 2-3 hours, and our subjects spent 2.4 hours on average.
Description and Training
- We provided an overview of the session to our subjects. Again,
there are many details specific to our environment that will need to
be changed if this document is reused.
- The training for error abstraction was already given in session 1B.
Handouts
- Subjects were asked to use the summary handout that was used in
session 1B.
Experimental Artifacts
Subjects used the same requirements document that was assigned in
session 2A.
Data Collection and Questionnaires
- Form 2.2 was provided as a template for submitting the fault list
and a questionnaire.
