Goal: Improve access to geo-referenced data for blind users
Component of a larger project: Improving Citizen Access to Government Statistics
Example: statistics about population, unemployement or cancer death rates are often presented as a map of the US where each region (e.g. states or counties) is painted of a uniform color whose hue or intensity is proportional to the variables of interest.
