Submitting Projects Using the Submit Server

To submit your project using the submit server https://submit.cs.umd.edu/  follow the steps below.  Remember to use your e-mail address as the Directory ID required by the submit server.  The password you need should have been provided by your teacher in class.  Make sure you change the initial password provided by your teacher by using the change password option you will see once you log in.

Steps to submit a project:

  1. Place all the file(s) associated with your project in a folder named proj followed by the project number (e.g., for the first project your folder will be named proj1).
  2. Create a zip file with the folder you created above.
  3. Make sure the zip file has all the files of your project.
  4. Log in to the submit server (https://submit.cs.umd.edu/) and using the "submit" option upload the zip file you created above. NOTE: Ignore the message "This project is not yet active for automated testing of submissions. ..." you will see at the top of the page. Upload your zip file using the following dialog box that you will see at the bottom of the page.

  1. Download from the submit server the file you just submitted and your submission is correct.
