PARKA-DB and ForMAT
The ForMAT/PARKA project is a Technology Integration Experiment (TIE)
supported by the Darpa/Rome Laboratory
Planning Initiative as part of a case-based planning cluster (see
below). In this project, Parka-db is used to support
ForMAT, a case-based tool for military transportation and
logistics planning, a project headed by Alice Mulvehill.
A detailed discussion of the joint work can be found in the
paper High Performance Support for Case-Based
Planning Applications which appeared in A.
Tate (editor) "Advanced Planning Technology."
Currently the TPFDD used by ForMAT is running under PARKA-DB. The size
of the knowlege base is 42025 frames, 474 structural links, and 667609

As mentioned above, the ForMAT/PARKA project is a Technology
Integration Experiment (TIE) supported by the Darpa/Rome Laboratory Planning
Initiative as part of a case-based planning cluster. This cluster
will soon be integrating this project with another TIE performed
between ForMAT and the CMU Prodigy research group headed by
Manuela Veloso . Click here for more information on the
