Here is a link to some detailed notes about the design of the site.

One of my design goals was to make the pages on this site look good across many different web browsers and computing platforms.If the pages don't look right in your web browser, here are some things to try:

• If you're using Netscape on a Sun, try going to the "advanced" section of Netscape's preferences, disabling stylesheets, and then enabling them again. Sometimes this is necessary to get Netscape to pay attention to stylesheets.
• If you're using Netscape on a Mac, try enabling both stylesheets and Javascript. Some versions of Netscape seem to ignore stylesheets unless Javascript is turned on.
