Job Search for People with PhD/MS in AI

I recently did a job search for AI-related position. Of course, the best way to find get information is by networking (talk to your advisor, friends, everyone!). But there are plenties of resources available on the web if you look for them. Here are some sites that were most helpful to me.

Finding a job

Computists International: Weekly industry/academic job postings.
`Employment Opportunities in AI' has links to many sites. (quite outdated)
Computing Research Association has a list of (mostly academic) job announcements.
AI Job Listings by AAAI.

Writing resumes

Many tips are available through the Resume Writing Center for writing resumes, cover letters and thank you letters.

What's your worth?

One thing I was not sure was how much I should ask in the job application. Naturally, the salary varies depending on your work experience, area of specialization, type of the job and geographic location. The following are several sites that give salary survey results for computer-related jobs.
