Hello, my name is Christian B. Almazan and I will be your tour guide to my academic and research site. This site represents the work I have been doing while I have been a graduate student at the University of Maryland at College Park. The majority of my work focuses on the Information Dynamics paradigm for understanding information in computer systems. Originally, I had wanted to specialize in pervasive computing systems, but realized that a lot of these systems require a better understanding of context. Therefore, a lot of my most recent focus has been on understanding what the nature of context is as well as what it means to be context-aware.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you have about this site. Thank you for visiting!
