Maintain project configurations

 

Active Project Files

The configurations specify the artifacts to be used when invoking the different tools of GUITAR.

By default, the first row is enabled and artifacts have been chosen.   The user can select multiple configurations by adding rows and selecting the first column to be ‘enabled’.  The user can also select a configuration and save it for later use by selecting ‘disable’. 

 

To change a selected artifact (see Figure 2)

q       Click on the artifact

q       A drop-down list of available artifacts in the category will appear

q       Change the selection

To add a row (see Figure 3)

q       Click on the button “Add Row”

q       A blank row is added.

To delete a row

q       Select the desired row

q       Click on the button “Delete Row”

 

All Project Files

Create additional artifacts:

q       Right-hand click on the desired folder

q       Select “Add”

q       Enter the full name of the artifact including the extension, e.g., for an additional test suite, enter: [name].TST

q       If the artifact does not immediately show in the proper location, click the “Refresh” button from the project window or right-hand menu. Check location.

Delete Artifacts

q       Right-hand click on the desired file.

q       Select “Delete”

q       If the artifact does not immediately disappear, click the “Refresh” button from the project window or right-hand menu. Check location.

Rename Artifacts:

q       Right-hand click on the desired file

q       Select “

Drag and Drop from one location to another:

q       Select the file or folder to be dragged

q       Drop to the desired location from one project to another.

“Refresh” the contents of the folder or the project

q       Click “Refresh” from the project window to refresh the contents of the whole project

q       Right-hand click on a folder to refresh and select “refresh” to refresh that particular folder only
