Carlos D. Castillo received the BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from the Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela ('03 and '05). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland. His research interests include computer vision and related problems such as object detection and recognition, and machine learning.
