Interests
I am interested in information visualization, algorithms, and computational biology. With my advisor
Carl Kingsford, we are looking for ways to
improve understanding of biological data through visualizations.

Short bio
I started my undergraduate career in Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (CMC) at Lomonosov Moscow State university. I moved to USA with my family during my 3rd year and tranferred to University of Maryland, College Park. As an undergraduate here, I majored in Math and Computer Science and received a B.S. in 2007. I continued studies in computer science and obtained M.S. in 2009. After a short break, I joined Maryland's PhD program in computer science.
