Dave Levin received a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mathematics in 2002 from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is now pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, also at College Park, advised by Bobby Bhattacharjee and Aravind Srinivasan.
His areas of interest lie in networking -- especially P2P systems and security -- and the application of theoretical tools like game theory. Peers that are self-interested or simply malicious are of particular (academic) interest.
Dave's hobbies include writing and performing music on electric bass guitar.
