Information about CMSC216H, Spring 2017

CMSC216H will cover the same core material as the regular CMSC216 section; however, the main difference is that variations of typical programming assignments (usually implemented in the Unix grace cluster using C), will be implemented using another platform / environment. For CMSC216H students are expected to:

  1. Have previous C knowledge or be comfortable with learning material at a fast pace.
  2. Work on group in-class exercises.
  3. Be open to be implement challenging projects (more challenging than the regular cmsc216 class) or regular class projects with additional features.
  4. Be opened to spend less time on class core material to leave space for enrichment.
  5. Have a grade of A- or higher in cmsc131 and cmsc132.

We are told that there are plans to have projects associated with circuit playground.
