HOW TO DO RESEARCH

Fall 2007

Format: Every lecture (except five- see below) a faculty will come to our class and give a talk on their research area. The goal is to get the students thinking about research projects. Five time during the semester we will attend the Monday Colloquim Instead. After those meetings we will meet back in our usual room to discuss the talk.

Meeting Time: The class meets Every Monday 4-5 in CSI 3120

Organizer: Clyde Kruskal.

Grading Policy: This is a 1-credit P/F course. The only requirement is attendence, which we take seriously. You cannot miss any class unless you have a documented good reason.
