MIDTERM REVIEW``Due'' March 29

For your own self-study, NOT to be handed in.
- READ the notes handed out on sparse sets (there were three
of those) and on PH (there was one of those).
- READ your classnotes on IP.
- Go over all of the HW problems from HW's 1,2,3,4,5.
(Can OMIT from this HW1 probs 2,3 (fine problems- for MATH 712).
HW3 prob 2 (a fine problem- for CMSC 451 or 651),
HW3 prob 3,4 (too messy),
- Go over all of the Extra Credit questions on the HW
just so that you know what they were asking.
- Do all of the exercises in the notes given out, except
the notes on computability theory.
- Come to class on March 29 with well defined questions to
ask me.
- INFORMATION ABOUT THE MIDTERM.
- The exam will cover all the topics in this course covered
so far except for Computability Theory and Zero-Knowledge.
- The HWs and the Exercises in the notes are a good guide
to what I care about.
- The exam will be March 29, 7-9 at night, in CSI 2118 (the same room
our class is in).
