Exercises

We have a lot of discussion on this topic. For the discussion board topics, I have started us with some initial thoughts, but I'd really like a discussion there. I'm more interested in you showing good analysis and depth of thought than sticking to exactly what I asked in the beginning.

What we do with people we trust

In the lecture, I ask you to note things you will do with people you trust. Take your ideas and enter them in this google doc.

Then, on the discussion board thread for Trust: What we do with people we trust, enter at least one response to the original questions and reply to one other student's post.

Investment Game

In the lecture and book, I talk about the investment game. Recall that you have $10. You can keep any amount and invest any part of it with a stranger. The stranger will receive 3 times your investment (e.g. if you invest $5, the stranger gets $15). That stranger chooses how much to return to you from that total. He can return nothing, just your original investment, double your investment - anything. How much do you invest? And, if you were the stranger receiving the money, how much would you return?

Enter your answers here.

Then, on the discussion board thread for Trust: Investment Game, enter at least one response to the original questions and reply to one other student's post.
