Data CUBE operator
- it is the n-dimensional generalization of the group-by operator
- it computes group-bys corresponding to all all possible combinations of a list of attributes
- Example:
- select P, D, C, Sum(S) from Transactions CUBE-BY P, D,C
- generates 2^3 group-bys PDC, PD, PC, DC, D, C, P, and all (empty group by)
