My advisor is Prof. Jimmy Lin. My research interest lies at the intersection of deep learning, information retrieval and NLP. My PhD thesis is about temporal context modeling for text retrieval, with applications on social media search, voice search and dialog system.
Recently I intern in the Comcast AI Research Lab, working on neural networks for improving their voice search system. Our work are deployed as a core technology in the XFINITY entertainment platform, which won the 69th Emmy Award (2017) for the technical contribution in advancing television technologies. In the past summers, I had great research internship experiences at
Microsoft. I also served as program committee member or reviewer in some conferences/journals, including NIPS'18, KDD'18, ACL'18, NAACL'18 and EMNLP'17 etc.
