My research interest lies at the intersection of deep learning, information retrieval and NLP. My PhD thesis is about temporal context modeling for text retrieval, with applications on social media search, voice search and dialog system.
In the past years, I had great research internship experiences at
Comcast AI Research Lab, Google and
Microsoft. During my internship at Comcast,
I helped build their XFINITY voice search system with neural networks, which helped win the 69th Emmy Award (2017) for the technical contribution in advancing television technologies. I also served as program committee member in some conferences, including KDD, ACL, WSDM, and NAACL etc.
