My research interest lies at the intersection of deep learning, information retrieval and NLP. My PhD thesis is about temporal context modeling for text retrieval, with applications on social media search and voice search.
In the past years, I had some research internship experiences at
Comcast AI Research, Google and
Microsoft. At Comcast research,
I helped build their XFINITY voice search system with neural networks, which helped win the 69th Emmy Award (2017) for the technical contribution in advancing television technologies. I also served as program committee member in some conferences, including NIPS, KDD, ACL, WSDM, and NAACL etc. (Resume)
