Research
The visual space is baffling in its complexity, yet biological systems seem to almost effortlessly sieve through extensive optical sensory input to make sense of the geometry and affordance of their surroundings and of themselves. The perceived effortlessness of human vision conceals the fact that over half of the human brain is engaged in visual processing, a crucial part of which is involved in representing and recognizing human actions. I am currently working with Yiannis Aloimonos towards formulating computational models of human actions.
