FEATURE DECODER TABLE
The people who printed up the labels for the feature directories for our
phones where obviously charging by the character, so here is a decoder
table for your feature directory:
- F1 - AD - Dial preprogrammed phone number (1 phone number only)
- F2 - Pers List - Select and dial preprogrammed number (15 phone numbers)
(i.e., Abbreviated dialing, personal list)
- F3 - SndCl 5XXXX - Call coverage: Send all calls to receptionist
- F4 - Call Fwd - Call forwarding
- F5 - CFwd B/DA - Call forwarding, only when my phone's busy or I don't answer
- F7 - Last Num - Call last number dialed
PROGRAMMING PHONE NUMBERS
You can program your phone with up to 16 phone numbers: one that doesn't need
a code number (automatic dialing) and 15 with code numbers 01-15 (abbreviated
dialing).
To program your phone, press *0 to put it into programming mode.
While in programming mode, you can repeat the following process as much as
you like; hang up when done.
- To program your no-code phone number: F1 phone-number F1
- To program a coded phone number: F2 code phone-number F2
CALL COVERAGE AND FORWARDING
I haven't yet figured out the interaction between call forwarding, call
coverage, automatic forwarding to the receptionist and automatic forwarding
to your voice mailbox. Some of the things I have figured out:
- You can not have both Call Forwarding & Call Forwarding - Busy/Don't Answer
activated at the same time: you will get an error if you try to activate one
while the other is already set.
- By setting call forwarding to 55100, you can have all calls directed
to your voice mailbox.
- You can't set Call forwarding - Busy/Don't answer to your voice mailbox
- You can only set call forwarding to an on-campus phone line
