That is it for the offical part of it. Here is what I actually did .....................
My stay in Israel was one of the best periods of my life and one of the most unforgettable ones. I was there for my Internship but things turned out much differently than expected. I ended up not only doing a wonderful project but more importantly having a big set of such wonderful aquaintances whom I will relish for years to come.
The day I reached there I met this guy named Moshe!!! The best part of him is that he has two lovely dogs but that's not it. He is one of the most helping guys I have ever met ! I have to say this ... He was my GUIDE! (just kiddin). To be true .. I wouldn't have been able to do 1/10th of what I did in those three months had he not been there. He made me go step by step into some thing I never even thought of doing and then finally made me come out of it successfully. He is a guy with incredible interests and perfection in many of them. " Master Of All ". He is not only good at computers which is expected out of him ( being a PHD in Computer vision) he is fantastic in photography. He likes moving around and all things that I wish I could have done. To know him better go this way >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Yael, One of the most interesting persons I have ever met. Nearly all my friends know about her. They must have heard her name from my mouth millions of times. So a few more words about her only for the new visitors of my "Kaynat." She has such a soft nature which no one can have. She has no capacitiy to hide her feelings. She has been grown up in a way I wish every child should be. She has interests which keep her so alive and she is so true. Mile away from this materialistic world. She loves water skeing! And she taught me too! Ya! She is the one who taught me water skiing in Israel. She is in the Israel's National Basket Ball team and her sister is the worlds No. 2 or maybe No. 1 by now in water skiing. The list goes on and on .. she likes moving around, going places or maybe I can say she enjoys anything and everything. She is the one whom I owe all the best and most lively parts of my stay to. Like ... Lovely dinner, Going to Jaffa, Water skiing classes. She was always around to help and and and and.............. I think I will never stop and I better leave something for u to discover when u meet her.
When I reached there this guy called Adi was missing. He had gone for a Kite festival in Italy. Yes a kite festival! and that is what his weakness is. He is really fond of them and it's his family business. That is some thing which flows in his blood and u talk to him for a while and u will realize that. Interesting right !!! Whenever the lab was silent, someone used to come and tell me that it wouldn't be the same when Adi is back and this actually was true. In no time he was back. I mean no time compared to the length of my stay over there. And then started the fun ! Mean seriously, working in the lab was much more fun with him around. He is some one who loves loud music. His taste matches mine and the way he works is adorable and really inspiring. He is really fast and he knows all he does. He is some one who surely should have been in business but maybe he is taking an off by doing his Masters in the Hebrew University. But he is academically so sound that I can't tell u. He taught me many things like using IPL which I will never be able to leave in future and many more things. If he was in lab I didn't care of any problems and when he wasn't all I had to do was to wait for him to be there. Some how problems just disappeared when he was there. I wish I am that fast some day or my knowledge about things is that complete. But its OK ! When talking of Adi how can I miss Danna, Adi's girlfriend ! One of the most beautiful girls in Israel. In the first few days I used to feel a bit reluctant to talk to her, just because of her height! She is a bit taller than me or maybe as tall as I am and I was some how, I don't know why but a bit scared to talk to her but in no time she made me feel really really friendly and that is the way it ended.
Yair, yes this guy is great. He is specific in his tastes which are really nice. He had his special chair into which I used to sneak in every now and then when he wasn't around cause it was so soft and irresistable. He has a beautiful 1-1 1/2 year old daughter. One of the most beautiful kids u can ever see and one special note, I was the first member of the lab who had the pleasure of meeting her. I don't know what effect it has on her but I really hope that it is good. Yair was someone who would have gone to any extent to make me adjust. The naivest of my questions were received with deep interest from his side. Thanks to him I got some references which have been the best I have come across till date.
Zomet, is one guy who
(from my point of view) never used to fit in my image of a research lab. He is too cool for that !!! Going
places with him is something I enjoyed the most. He was always eager to
take me around to their favorite eating joint "Menza" but some how the
things out there didn't taste much of food to me so I had to say "Lo Tuda".
Now these last two words are in Hebrew, meaning "No Thanks" and I have
been using them even after coming back to India. Many of my friends will
start using the same very soon. Coming back to Asaf... no not my next friend
he is the same Zomet - Asaf Zomet actually. He was the one with whom I
went for skiing for the first time. Yael took us to the place and I was
feeling really scared. But that was not the only reason why I wanted him
to come along. In general he is really cool to be with. I wish I could
have spent more time with him but alas ! He is getting married with "Galith"
in December so he was mostly busy. I wish I could attend his marriage.
He loves my dance and I would have loved to do it on his marriage if Israelie's
dance on their marriages. Even if they don't Asaf will ! It was fun working
with him and having him around. And a final note, he told me not to tell
anyone but I can't help... sorry Asaf !!!!! "Asaf loves skiing"
