Hi and welcome to my page!  My name is Nick Gramsky and I am a PHD student of Computer Science at the University of Maryland.  I recently received my Master’s in Computer Science in May of 2012.  My undergraduate time was spent at the University of Miami where I double majored in Math and Computer Science while minoring in Philosophy.

My area of study is in Computer Systems and my areas of research interest include location and context aware systems.  Other areas of interest include social network analysis and open source intelligence.  I even enjoyed spending a bit of time dabbling in game theory.

While in pursuit of my academic goals I continued to maintain a full-time job as a Software/System’s Engineer.  I am an avid runner and spend my spare time running the trails and roads around the DC area and racing ultras.
