Bio
My name is Nick Petroni and I am a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland. I am a research assistant under Dr. Michael Hicks and a member of the Maryland Information and Systems Security Lab. I am co-advised by Dr. William Arbaugh.
I am also employed as a senior engineer at Komoku, Inc.
The overall goal of my research is to improve the integrity and trustworthiness of real-world computer systems. I am particularly interested in tools and techniques for assessing and maintaining the integrity of key system components, such as the operating system, at runtime.
