What is Myra

I am from Demre, which is a small town in Antalya district of Turkey. It is on the Mediterranean coast, and its major source of income is farming. Myra is the ancient name of my home town. It was an important Lycian harbour city. It is also the place where St. Nicholas, who is believed to be Father Christmas (Santa Claus), lived. He was the saint of children, sailors, and thieves!
