Women of Applied Mathematics: Research and Leadership

A workshop on Women of Applied Mathematics: Research and Leadership will be held October 8-10, 2003 at the University of Maryland at College Park. The workshop, consisting of research symposia and career development panel discussions, will provide a technical and professional forum for ten senior women and twenty-five early-career women in applied mathematics.

This workshop is supported by a grant from the Department of Energy with local support provided by the Computer Science Department and the Center for Scientific Computing and Mathematical Modeling at the University of Maryland.

We invite the mathematical community to attend the following talks.
